Kiwis star Sonny Bill Williams should be fit for the ANZAC league test, if his rehab goes to plan.
That comes from his doctor at the Bulldogs, despite Williams being ruled out of league for the next six weeks with foot stress fractures.
Doctor Hugh Hazard said Williams needs to stay off his feet for the next few weeks.
Hazard said the plan is then to slowly get him back walking and then running.
He said Sonny-Bill Williams remains pretty fit and determined to get back on the field.
Meanwhile despite their injuries, Warriors players Sione Faumuina, Jerome Ropati and Brent Webb are set to travel with the Warriors for Saturday's NRL warm up match against the Cowboys in Cairns.
Faumuina has a shoulder injury and Ropati a groin problem, both aggravated against Canberra on Sunday, but they are only considered minor.
Webb missed the match with his groin strain, but all three are likely to leave with a 22 man squad on Friday morning.
However, it is uncertain whether the trio will play against North Queensland.
The Warriors will travel from Cairns to Surfers Paradise following the game, for next week's warm-up match against the Bulldogs.
