KEY POINTS:
Controversial fullback Wade McKinnon revealed the torment he has suffered since being suspended for spitting at a linesman last month.
Actually, no, that's not McKinnon's style - instead he was confident he was always going to play again in 2008.
"I was confident the boys would do the job and they did," said McKinnon, who is expected to return at fullback in place of Lance Hohaia when the Warriors meet Manly on Saturday night.
"It gives me an opportunity to be available."
While most of the 26,000 crowd might not have felt so comfortable at halftime when the Warriors were 13-6 down, McKinnon, 27, maintained he knew they would come out and win.
"I was confident, that was all man. I was confident throughout the week and that never changed."
McKinnon said he had trained to full capacity during the NRL-enforced lay-off and was "raring to go".
Whether that was in the starting XIII or off the bench did not concern him, as long as he was in the 17.
