The Warriors salary cap scandal has taken yet another twist.
Two leading league player managers have now been caught up in the investigation, just over three weeks after the club was slapped with a fine and a points deduction.
Reports across the Tasman suggest that Jim Banaghan and George Mimis broke salary cap rules when doing deals on behalf of Warriors skipper Steve Price and front-rower Ruben Wiki, amongst others.
Banaghan has allegedly accepted free return airfares to Auckland, luxury accommodation, cars for his players, more than $100,000 in management fees paid for by a third party and cash payments from the Warriors.
Both agents face being banned from holding NRL accreditation - the pair deny any wrongdoing.
