KEY POINTS:
Warriors five-eight Jerome Ropati will not be holding anything back when he makes his first start of the season tonight. The Warriors play the Knights in their round nine NRL clash in Newcastle.
With regular stand-off Michael Witt ruled out of the clash because of his suspension, Ropati has been given the nod in the number six jersey which he made his own last season.
Ropati said he was eager to make the most of the opportunity and show what he was capable of.
He said he had a clear idea of the role of a number six and the key for him was to step up and take control of the match and direct play around the park when his team needed it.
Tony Martin and Wade McKinnon are also suspended for the match, which kicks off at 7-30 tonight.
