KEY POINTS:
Some fresh ideas from the NRL club chief executives for next season's draw.
The NRL has scrapped the pool system used this year in favour of a ranking system where clubs can request favoured match-ups in what is being referred to as a ";rigged draw";.
Warriors CEO Wayne Scurrah cannot see his side being a popular pick because of logistics getting to New Zealand and the team's recent home record.
Scurrah said it makes perfect sense to maximise key rivalries for revenue and minimise travel hassle.
Scurrah has been working overtime to submit his side's requests for next season's draw, with three teams right at the top of his list.
He said the Bulldogs, Storm and Broncos are teams they would like to see in Auckland as they attract big crowds.
Scurrah added not all requests will be accommodated but it will be more beneficial to players and fans.
