Warriors' captain Steve Price is back in full training, returning from shin problems which kept him out of the team's two pre-season games.
However, there was no 'easing off' the veteran prop at his first training session with the team.
Coach Tony Kemp says Price was hit in a big tackle by Ruben Wiki, which was Wiki's way of saying "welcome back", but the new skipper got straight up and kept going.
Kemp says that is something the younger players will definitely notice.
On a more serious note, Price says Wiki's support within the team has been invaluable.
Price says Wiki is a guy who a number of the team idolise and are prepared to work hard for, which strengthens the team environment.
Price says the rehab has worked exactly how they had expected so they are all happy, and, unless there is a new problem in the next week and half, he expects to lead the team out onto Ericsson Stadium against Manly.
He says with just over a week to go before their first game, there is a good feeling around the place.
Price believes the recruitment this year has been the biggest plus in a squad which includes the experience of Wiki, Stacey Jones, Awen Guttenbeil and Monty Betham.
