Match fitness is the only concern for Warriors skipper Steve Price heading into the first round of the NRL season this weekend.
Price has been sidelined by injury for the team's pre-season campaign, but has recovered in time to play the season opener against Manly.
Price says he should be okay, despite the lack of preparation.
He says ideally it would have been good to have a game before the season starts, but that was not the case. However, he says he has been training hard and is confident he will last the distance.
Meanwhile, a change in leadership is unlikely to affect the Warriors' on-field flamboyancy.
Steve Price says the focus at training has been dominating their opposition up front this year. However, he says that does not mean the trademark flair will disappear because they have so many talented players with tremendous skills.
The Warriors play Manly in Auckland on Sunday.
