Warriors captain Steve Price is praising club management over the sacking of Sione Faumuina this week, following several alcohol related incidents.
Price says the club has a set of values which they all know they need to abide by, if they want to stay around.
He says the fact the club was willing to drop even a high profile player for misconduct shows they are serious about the people they want playing for the Warriors.
Price says Faumuina should have known he would not get away with repeat offensive drunken behaviour after Misi Taulapapa was sacked for the same thing.
However, he finds it sad that Faumuina has thrown away his opportunity with the Warriors.
He says he is a talented player, but should have known what he did was not in line with the values at the club.
The Warriors finish their season with a clash in Brisbane against the Broncos this weekend.
