KEY POINTS:
The Warriors must use a new fullback for their next two games but there will be something wrong if they can't beat an overworked Sharks outfit at Mt Smart on Saturday night.
Wade McKinnon yesterday admitted a charge of contrary conduct for his shove on referee Jason Robinson in the Souths game on Sunday and has been banned for two weeks.
McKinnon said the contact near the Warriors' line was "totally accidental ... there was no intent, no malice".
Patrick Ah Van shifts to the back for the Sharks game, his first in the NRL this year after 15 last season, 12 of those on the wing. The 19-year-old had shoulder surgery at the end of last year and has since played at fullback in three games for the Auckland Lions in the New South Wales premier league.
The Warriors are otherwise unchanged after the tough and late two-point win over Souths.
The Sharks have five players featuring in tomorrow night's City v Country game that is a trial for the New South Wales State of Origin selection. It would have been seven, but prop Luke Douglas (wrist) and backrower Paul Gallen (ankle) withdrew yesterday. They were replaced in the City team by Mark Minichiello and Peter Cusack (both Souths).
Appearing for the Country side tomorrow night are the Sharks captain Brett Kimmorley and lock Greg Bird. Facing them for City are second-rower Lance Thompson and Paul Gallen and three-quarters Reece Williams and Ben Pomeroy.
All of those played in Monday's 20-16 loss to the Knights in Newcastle. On Friday they fly to Sydney then on to Auckland for their third game in six days on Saturday.
Fatigue will play a big factor in the Sharks' game. They should be easy meat for a Warriors side gathering strength, ability, confidence and momentum.
