KEY POINTS:
The Warriors have stuck with a winning combination for their road trip to Queensland, Todd Byrne replacing the injured Tony Martin at right centre against the Gold Coast on Saturday.
State of Origin takes Warriors skipper Steve Price (Queensland) and Titans co-captain Luke Bailey (NSW) from the game.
The home side will feel that loss more than the visitors, despite Price's huge average ground gain, simply because the Titans are shorter on props.
They bought Ian Donnelly three weeks ago from Melbourne where he was back-up, and former Junior Kiwi James Stosic from Waitara has only a handful of games behind him.
Off the bench, they have another rookie in Michael Hodgson, who is returning after several weeks out with a leg injury, and converted second-rower Kris Kahler, also short on top-grade games.
The Titans are also without workaholic Anthony Laffranchi after he ruptured medial ligaments in his right knee against Newcastle last weekend, a significant loss for them.
The Warriors should have a significant advantage up front.
Go-forward should give the backs momentum to continue the work they did against Penrith last weekend.
This is a game the more experienced Warriors should win to confirm themselves as playoffs contenders.
The Titans have won six of seven games at Carrara Stadium, where they generally draw full-house crowds of around 18,000. Their attendances are the second-best in the NRL after Brisbane.
So the Warriors can expect a warm reception on Saturday evening.
A fast start will be required to take the voice from the home fans.
