KEY POINTS:
The Junior Warriors will contest the first-ever finals series in the under-20s Toyota Cup after finishing third in the competition, but they must play their remaining matches in Australia.
They ended their season with a 24-24 draw at Parramatta for a start-up record of 14 wins, seven losses and three draws. Their points differential of 188 was second-best of the 16 teams.
Wing Bill Tupou scored twice on Saturday and Daniel O'Regan got one so both finish the season with 11. Fullback Kevin Locke's four-from-five goals gave him 198 points for the season.
Their opponents in the first round of finals are expected to be the Dragons, the draw and venues to be decided late last night. There is no doubt the under-20s achievement is the success story of the Warriors' season.
