The Junior Warriors booked their place in next weekend's NYC grand final with a come-from-behind victory over the Bulldogs in Brisbane last night.
Trailing 10-0 at half-time, the Warriors hit back shortly after through two tries to wing Omar Slaimankhel and then sealed the victory with a Shaun Johnson field goal and a late Glen Fisiiahi try.
Johnson scored a solo try to draw the Warriors level in the 62nd minute and then potted his field goal six minutes later to put his side in front for the first time.
Matt Robinson's try-saving tackle preserved the lead before bench hooker Nafe Seluini sliced through from deep in his own half to send over Fisiiahi for the clinching try with four minutes remaining.
The Warriors will play the winner of tonight's match between minor premiers South Sydney and the Canberra Raiders in Sydney next Sunday.
Suffocating defence isn't exactly a hallmark of the NYC but for the first 30 minutes both sides cancelled each other out effectively. The Warriors dominated territory and possession but struggled to do much with it.
They were made to pay 10 minutes before the break when Bulldogs skipper Martin Taupau set up the opening try with a powerful burst. Taupau was dragged down short of the line but the Bulldogs scored easily from the next play when Carlos Tuimavave was caught in no man's land, allowing hulking interchange forward Paki Afu to cross.
More poor defending from the Warriors allowed the Bulldogs to strike again instantly. With Siuatonga Likiliki struggling, the Warriors looked vulnerable on their right flank.
The Bulldogs eventually pressed home their superiority, drawing Warriors wing Omar Slaimankhel out of position and scoring through Ratu Tagive to send the Warriors to the break trailing 10-0.
In the second half Bulldogs five-eighths Aiden Sezer stepped through to put his side back in front after Slaimankhel's tries, but Johnson danced through to turn things decisively back in the Warriors' favour.
