KEY POINTS:
Hooker Nathan Fien will remain in Warriors colours to the end of the 2009 National Rugby League (NRL) season, the club announced today.
Fien, 27, who moved to Auckland in 2005 said he was loath to leave the club and was delighted to remain for another two years.
He joined the Warriors after 91 NRL appearances for North Queensland Cowboys and was now closing in on his 50th outing for his second NRL club.
His 48th game for the Warriors, at Mt Smart Stadium on Sunday, will be against his old club.
He is the third off-contract player re-signed by the Warriors after standoff Jerome Ropati and captain Steve Price signed new contracts recently.
