SYDNEY - Canberra forward Matt Adamson will retire at the end of the NRL season and take a coaching job with France's new Super League club Les Catalans.
The 33-year-old former New South Wales State of Origin player is to return from a rib injury in this week's match against the Warriors.
"I only have seven competition games left and then hopefully some semi-final football," Adamson told the NRL website.
"I know I can pull out all stocks each week to make sure my body's in the best physical shape it can be," he said.
"It's important to me to finish my career the way I want to finish it."
