The Kiwis have received some bad news in their build-up to the one-off league test against Great Britain at St Helens.
Two players are not being released by their NRL clubs late in the piece - Roosters centre Iosia Soliola and Parramatta prop Fui Fui Moi Moi.
"Such is life", according to Kiwis Team Manager Peter Leitch.
Leitch says they simply have to take the decision on the chin because the test was organised so late.
He says they have faith in the English-based players though.
Peter Leitch says Warriors centre Clinton Toopi will be jumping on a plane to London today, having been released by his club.
The side is still waiting on Ben Roberts' final release from the Bulldogs and a fitness check from the Broncos on Greg Eastwood.
Eastwood will play as long as he is fit.
David Kidwell is set play for Melbourne against the Bulldogs on Friday and will arrive in London on Sunday, in time for the side's first training session.
