League: Anderson completes move from Warriors to London Broncos

The London Broncos have pulled off a major coup by signing the New Zealand international Vinnie Anderson on a three year contract.

Anderson, 26, who played stand-off outside the Broncos' Thomas Leuluai in last autumn's Tri-Nations, has been surprisingly released by the Warriors.

"This is just terrific news for our club," said the London coach Tony Rea, who expects to use Anderson mainly as a back-rower or a centre. "Vinnie has quite a bond with Tommy, which can only be a good thing."

Meanwhile, both Wigan and the representatives of New Zealand's gifted loose forward Sonny Bill Williams have denied that they have already made an offer to him for when his contract with the Bulldogs expires at the end of this year.

Williams is the player Wigan would love to bring on board to replace Andy Farrell when he decamps to rugby union, but his management say that the club has not been in touch.
