Green Day tickets go on sale on July 1, but in an effort to combat ticket scalping 300 GA standing section tickets will be available only to fans who line up at the Vector Arena box office.
Each person who queues up will be able to buy a maximum of two tickets.
Tickets bought online, over the phone or at outlets will also be subject to tighter controls, with purchasers initially being issued a receipt only.
