Konrad Hurrell doesn't appear to have a future at the Warriors and the latest club linked with the centre is UK Super League outfit Hull Kingston Rovers.
The Herald on Sunday revealed 10 days ago that Hurrell's days with the Warriors were numbered after issues on and off the field. The club have lost patience with him, even though he is contracted at Mt Smart until the end of 2018, and were prepared to pay part of his wages if another club came in for him.
He has been linked with both the Titans and Sea Eagles in the NRL and now Hull KR interim coach James Webster admitted he will likely enquire about Hurrell.
Hull have issues at centre, with both Thomas Minns and Liam Salter set to miss extended periods with injury, and Webster said he will likely enquire about Hurrell with his brother Justin Webster, a Warriors assistant coach.
"If we bring someone in they have to be better than what we already have," Webster told TotalRL. "[Football manager] Jamie Peacock will take care of that for us and he has his finger on the pulse. We'll know in a couple of days what will happen there.
