The Warriors last savoured the sweet taste of victory on July 12, with their round 16 28-14 win over Melbourne Storm.
That game featured plenty of highlights of the Warriors at their attacking best with halfback Shaun Johnson running the show and Nathan Friend back-flipping his way on to ESPN.
The future looked bright, with the Warriors claiming a top four berth and looking on course for their first finals appearance since the 2011 grand final.
It hasn't quite worked out that way however, with the Penrose-based club slumping to seven straight defeats against the Sydney Roosters, Manly, Cronulla, St George-Illawarra, Penrith, North Queensland and Wests Tigers.
Andrew McFadden's side are desperate to finish the season on a high and now need a last round away win over the Canterbury Bulldogs on Sunday, to avoid equalling their worst record for consecutive defeats from 2012, when they lost eight straight.
