Seven-year-old 100kg rugby league player withdrawn from under 8s team after cruel comments
A huge hit on social media, footage of a 100kg seven-year-old tearing apart an opposition rugby league team in Sydney took the internet by storm in August.
Playing for the St Johns Eagles Under-8s side, defenders can be seen helplessly trying to bring down the youngster, who was more than twice the size of any other player of the field.
However, internet trolls reduced the boy's parents to tears with cruel comments, resulting in the boy being withdrawn from his team.
Let's hope the boy, who has been described as a "gentle giant" that is aware of how much bigger he is than his peers, makes a successful return to the football field in the near future.
