Next week's origin decider at Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane has offically been confirmed as a sell-out.
The previous attendance record for a three game Origin series was 215,883 in 2013 and the sell-out at Suncorp Stadium - which can hold 52,500 spectators - means a new record is likely to be set.
Origin one attracted more than 80,000 fans at ANZ Stadium and a record breaking 91,513 attended Origin two at Melbourne's Cricket Ground.
NRL chief executive Dave Smith confirmed there were no more available tickets for the eagerly anticapted decider which kicks off at 10pm next Wednesday.
"We have a decider in front of a sell-out crowd at Suncorp Stadium - it doesn't get much better than that," Smith said.
