While many thought Shaun Johnson's cheeky request of tennis star Caroline Wozniacki to follow him on Instagram last week was a sign of a budding romance, it appears another female sports star has already won the heart of the Warriors halfback.
Silver Fern Kayla Cullen has posted several photos of her with Johnson on her Instagram page over the summer but was coy with news.com.au about their relationship when contacted.
"We're great friends and enjoy spending time together like all friends do, I've got nothing more to say," she said.
However, those who've seen the pair together are convinced they are destined to become New Zealand sport's glamour couple in 2016.
