Injured Warriors fullback Roger Tuivasa-Sheck is on track with his recovery from a season-ending knee injury.
The reigning Dally M Fullback of the Year ruptured his ACL in the Warriors' round seven game against the Bulldogs in Wellington, cutting short his first season with the club.
Back running on his surgically repaired knee, Tuivasa-Sheck says it feels good but he understands he must be patient as he works his way back to full fitness.
"I feel I am at the point where I am ready to take off but my trainers are having to hold me back," the 23-year-old tells herald.co.nz.
"All plans are towards pre-season. I will be ready by pre-season," he explains meaning he will be back to full contact training this side of Christmas.
