Sky have secured the rights to Friday's transtasman league test and signed off on a new NRL deal that includes New Zealand-Australia test matches through to 2022.
Sky were locked in negotiations with the NRL yesterday but an agreement could not be reached, before finalising the new deal today.
Coverage of the Hunter Stadium clash between the Kiwis and Kangaroos will begin at 9.05pm, while the preceeding women's test between the Australian Jillaroos and Kiwi Ferns will begin at 7.10pm.
Sky have the rights to broadcast all NRL matches live together with Fox Sports panel shows, including Monday Night with Matty Johns, NRL360, and The Footy Show.
However, test football was not included in their previous arrangement, with Australia's Nine Network holding the rights to international matches through its deal with the Australian Rugby League Commission.
