Sky TV are assuring fans they will be able to see Friday night's transtasman league test even though they haven't yet secured the rights to broadcast the game in New Zealand.
The clash at Newcastle's Hunter Stadium is currently listed on Sky's programme schedule with the allotted broadcast time between 9.30pm and midnight 'To Be Confirmed'.
The uncertainty is not welcomed by fans desperate to watch the Kiwis, who are chasing their fourth consecutive test win over Australia for the first time since 1952-53.
But Sky are confident of having the rights confirmed and it's not uncommon for negotiations to be finalised in the days before an event.
"We're actually in discussions right now," explained Sky director of communication Kirsty Way.
