Former Warriors coach and current assistant coach Andrew McFadden has been linked to the vacant position at the Catalans Dragons.
The French club is languishing in ninth place on the Super League ladder and has dumped former French international Laurent Frayssinous from the coaching position.
League Express magazine has nominated McFadden as a contender to take the reins of the side.
The 39-year-old McFadden stood down as Warriors head coach last year when Stephen Kearney was signed by the club but the former Raiders and Storm playmaker opted to stay on as an assistant coach for the 2017 season.
Former Bradford Bulls mentor Rohan Smith and 2005 Wests Tigers premiership winner Brett Hodgson were also in the running according to the magazine.
