The Maori rugby league team has suffered a nail-biting loss to Samoa at the World Cup in the UK.

The Maori have been beaten 21-16 after leading 4-nil at halftime.

In other results, Australia has hammered Fiji 66-8, Ireland beat Scotland 18-6, England thrashed Russia 76-4 and France downed Tonga 28-8.
