KEY POINTS:
Cronulla face a A$10,000 ($11,460) fine for comments made against a sideline official from their bench during the 16-8 win over Brisbane last Friday.
The NRL yesterday issued a breach notice to the club relating to "a number of comments" made to sideline official Russell Turner during the match. NRL chief operating officer Graham Annesley said the league's rules state that under no circumstances were match officials to be approached, questioned or harassed in any way by club officials either during or after a match.
The Sharks have five days to respond to the breach notice and potential fine.
