The Warriors will depart from their usual routine by taking some of their training sessions to Auckland secondary schools for the rest of the NRL season.
They rarely venture outside the Mount Smart Stadium precinct for training sessions but Warriors head coach Brian McClennan is keen for the players to train at some of Auckland's schools.
Their first destination will be Otahuhu College on Monday, a school with a rich rugby league heritage. The school boasts former Kiwis Olsen Filipaina and Ali Lauitiiti plus the Ropati brothers Joe, Tea and Iva among its alumni.
Cooper Vuna was still a student at Otahuhu College when he became the club's youngest first grader in history in 2004, and several players in the club's youth and development squads this year were educated at the school.
