The severity of Anthony Tupou's broken jaw has swayed the Warriors to not contest Konrad Hurrell's suspension.
The centre will miss three NRL matches after the club decided to take an early guilty plea for his collision with the Sharks forward.
The incident has again raised questions of whether the NRL should take injury into account when deciding a suspension.
Warriors managing director Jim Doyle says they would never be able to successfully contest it with the state that Tupou is in.
"Like most people we were very conscious of the injury Anthony Tupou had from it and felt like it was more appropriate for us not to contest it," Doyle says.
