The NRL has called a media conference where it's expected to announce findings on appeals by the Cronulla club, suspended Sharks coach Shane Flanagan and their former trainer Trent Elkin.
NRL chief executive Dave Smith and chief operating officer Jim Doyle will front the 3pm conference at Rugby League Central.
The appeals were over the $1 million fine imposed by Smith on Cronulla on December 17 plus a 12-month ban on Flanagan and a two-year suspension for Elkin.
All of the penalties relate to Cronulla's supplements program during the 2011 season when the squad was allegedly exposed to an 11-week regime of injection, creams and tablets.
If Flanagan is successful, he'll be free to take charge of the Sharks on Monday night for their season opener against the Gold Coast.
