Two of Manly's biggest names missed this morning's NRL grand final breakfast because of illness, but their coach insisted they would be fit to play in Sunday's premiership decider against the Vodafone Warriors.
Anthony Watmough and Tony Williams awoke feeling "poorly," said coach Des Hasler.
He said the pair woke up suffering the effects of a cold, and it was decided they wouldn't risk further illness by attending the annual function.
The pair, who played starring roles in Manly's progression this season, are expected to resume training tomorrow.
