Wests Tigers have confirmed that Tim Sheens won't coach the NRL club in 2013.
At a press conference on Tuesday afternoon club officials said Sheens won't be the head coach but may be offered another role at the Tigers.
Sheens' future had been under the microscope as the club ordered a review into its operations following a dismal campaign in which the Tigers failed to reach the finals despite being rated title favourites before the season.
His position became untenable as a result of a player revolt, with the squad upset at the cleanout which had resulted in popular figures Beau Ryan and Chris Heighington being released to join Cronulla.
He had two years remaining on his contract worth around $900,000.
