The Sydney Roosters have released veteran centre Shaun Kenny-Dowall from the remainder of his contract effective immediately.
Kenny-Dowall was stood down by the club in May after he was allegedly caught in possession of cocaine at a nightclub in Sydney.
"Shaun has made a significant contribution to the Roosters' on-field success across his 13 years at the club, and for that, we thank him," said Sydney Roosters CEO Joe Kelly.
"The club wishes Shaun all the very best in the future," he added.
The Kiwi international has played 224 matches for the Tricolours since making his debut in 2007.
