The Titans broke free in a late burst to overcome the Canberra Raiders 16-10 and remain on top of the NRL ladder with last night's other winner, the Brisbane Broncos.
The Broncos beat the Penrith Panthers 38-18 in Sydney.
At Skilled Park, the Titans and the Raider were 10-all in the 70th minute after a try to Canberra winger Adrian Purtell.
But the oldest player on the field, dual international Mat Rogers, came to the Titans' rescue with the help of halfback Scott Prince.
Prince's decision to run the ball on the sixth tackle instead of snapping a field goal caught the Raiders off guard and set up Rogers for the match-winning try in the final minute.
Prince, who this week re-signed with the Titans until 2014, gave the club a quick return on its investment, playing a starring role in the Coast's third straight win.
Weight of possession helped the Titans, but they deserved the win after having two tries disallowed by video referee Phil Cooley.
Canberra never had enough football to mount any serious pressure and when they did, their attack broke down at critical stages.
In Sydney, the scoreline somewhat flattered the Broncos, who after a lethargic second half scored late tries through Karmichael Hunt and Justin Hodges to finally see off the Panthers.
The home team, down 24-6 at halftime, closed the gap to six points midway through the second half.
It was a performance which would have left Broncos coach Ivan Henjak far from thrilled.
The game looked as good as over after 40 minutes, but led by inspirational skipper Petero Civoniceva and some blinding speed from NSW Origin hopeful Michael Jennings, the Panthers stormed back.
With Brisbane seemingly content to sit on their 18-point lead, the Panthers went to work, and it was not until the 66th minute that the Brisbane team finally came back to life.
