It may have been a tough weekend for the Penrith Panthers but Auckland-born forward Moses Leota made sure it was a memorable one for all the right reasons.
Following the Panthers' massive 36-16 loss to the Warriors on Friday night, Leota used the trip home to surprise his mum with a new car.

In the video posted to Twitter, Leota walks his mum outside to the driveway before handing her a set of keys and saying: "your new car".
Overwhelmed by emotion, Leota's mum bursts into tears and embraces her son for a long teary hug.
