Titans: 10
Panthers: 23
John Cartwright's nightmare goes on while the Penrith mini-revival continues.
In a scrappy match, the Panthers managed their third win in four games against a flat Titans outfit.
The Titans have been one of the top sides in the NRL over the past two seasons, but have won just three of 12 matches in 2011 as they anchor the table.
Their kicking game lacked direction and their completion rate was less than 50 per cent in the second half.
The Panthers were marginally better, well led by Luke Walsh around the park. The home side opened the scoring in the 5th minute with a try to David Mead, but the Panthers dominated the rest of the first half and tries to Jennings and Kevin Kingston saw them lead at the break.
Preston Campbell levelled the scores early in the second half before Petero Civoniceva break created a long range try for Adrian Purtell in the 54th minute. A late Walsh field goal sealed the result.
Titans 10
D. Mead, P. Campbell tries; S. Prince goal
Panthers 23
M. Jennings, K. Kingston, A. Purtell, T. Burns tries; T. Burns 3 goals, L. Walsh field goal
