Manly officials are refusing to divulge whether coach Des Hasler's future at the NRL premiers will be put to a vote at a board meeting on Wednesday night.
The scheduled meeting of the Sea Eagles board will take place at the club's headquarters, with speculation Canterbury-bound Hasler could be shown the door.
Hasler last month agreed to a four-year deal to coach the Bulldogs from 2013, with the Manly board declaring he would see out the final year of his contract with the Sea Eagles to oversee their premiership defence in 2012.
But pressure is mounting on the Sea Eagles to remove Hasler immediately, with the club's backroom staff being pillaged by the NRL rivals.
Hasler is taking recruitment guru Noel Cleal with him to the Bulldogs, while assistant coach Kelly Egan is also headed to the blue and whites.
