SYDNEY - South Sydney Rabbitohs hooker Issac Luke will miss this Sunday's clash with Brisbane at Suncorp Stadium after being found guilty of a dangerous contact charge at the NRL judiciary on Wednesday.
The New Zealand international hooker, who was ruled out of last year's Anzac test against Australia due to suspension, was sanctioned after being charged with making dangerous contact with the kicker against North Queensland.
The incident took place during Souths' 32-4 win over the Cowboys, when Luke charged into Cowboys' halfback Johnathan Thurston.
Luke has been in inspirational form for Souths, who sit in third place on the NRL ladder, and they will also take on the Broncos without in-form prop David Taylor who has been named in the Queensland State of Origin squad.
