Brisbane skipper Darren Lockyer says he will wait until gameday to make a final decision on whether to play in Friday night's NRL preliminary final against Manly.
Lockyer got through a training session with his Broncos teammates on Tuesday, just 50 hours after undergoing surgery to have three plates inserted in his fractured cheekbone.
He said he was in no pain as a result of the injury, and reiterated the final call on whether he plays will be his.
"I couldn't do much contact work so I haven't made my decision totally yet. I'll wait for the week to progress and see,'' Lockyer said.
"We've only got one more field session and that's Thursday and I'll know by the end of that how close I will be, but I'll wait until Friday to make that call.''
