All aboard. The Hayne Train is well and truly rolling and another league player is already trying to hook his carriage to the Australasian sports story of the moment.
New South Wales fullback Josh Dugan has "spoken with his manager about possibly making the transition" after his predecessor Jarryd Hayne was included on the San Francisco 49ers roster.
It's less than a week since Hayne, who played in four pre-season games, was selected by the battling 49ers. He will make his debut against the Minnesota Vikings on Tuesday.
The Daily Telegraph reported that Dragons No. 1 Dugan "has a deep love for American football and follows it closely".
Dugan is not alone there, and he won't be in terms of stories about other players ready to make it big Stateside. Even an over-excited NRL is talking about having another go at cracking the American market, as if all of America is transfixed by Hayne.
