NSW captain Paul Gallen is in doubt for the State of Origin decider because of a foot injury suffered in Origin II on Wednesday.
According to reports, Gallen is set to miss up to five weeks with the injury that occurred in Queensland's series-levelling 26-6 win.
Scans have revealed he suffered a partial tear of the plantar fascia tissue in the arch of his left foot in the last 10 minutes of Wednesday's match, according to News Ltd.
It is believed the injury will sideline Gallen for three to five weeks.
That puts him in serious doubt for the Origin series decider at ANZ Stadium on July 17, but the 31-year-old is determined to push on and be fit for the do-or-die match.
