Cameron Smith proved his NZ Herald NRL Fantasy $436,000 price tag with 51 points in the Storm's 32-10 over the Cowboys.
He remains the top scorer (117 points) after two weeks but wasn't even the best in his team this round. Cooper Cronk (55) and Tohu Harris (52) both outscored their skipper. Jonathan Thurston, in 21% of teams, produced just 17 points in a losing cause.
Popular picks Greg Inglis (22 points) and Jarryd Hayne (14 points) didn't reward their Fantasy coaches this week with average performances.
Anthony Watmough ($332,000) sits in second spot behind Smith in the leading scorers after a strong 69-point haul in Manly's 32-0 win over the Knights. That was the best of the week for all players closely followed by Brisbane's Ben Hannant who scored 66 for the Broncos in a 22-6 win over the Dragons.
Robbie Farrah scored 56 points in the West Tigers 28-18 win over the Panthers to move to third top scorer with 104 while Watmough's Manly teammate Matt Ballin also cracked the 100-point mark with 52 points against Newcastle.
