Warriors coach Ivan Cleary has poured cold water on speculation he might be joining the Penrith Panthers.
Reports from across the Tasman have linked Cleary to talks with Panthers coaching director Phil Gould about a move there next season.
Cleary says he plans to remain at Mount Smart Stadium.
Cleary's Warriors side have thrown away an 18 point lead with sixteen minutes remaining to lose 26-22 to Wests Tigers.
Tigers coach Tim Sheens says once they got a sniff by closing the gap to 12 points, they knew the Warriors could crumble.
The Tigers join the Warriors on 16 points on the ladder, but leapfrog them to sixth on points differential.
