Star South Sydney import Sam Burgess is in danger of missing Saturday's must-win NRL clash against Wests Tigers after being slapped with a dangerous contact charge.
Burgess is facing a one-week ban with an early guilty plea after the match review committee deemed his grapple tackle on Canterbury five-eighth Ben Barba was a grade-two offence.
Should he contest the charge or even the grading and fail, the Englishman would be rubbed out for two games.
