Police want to speak to a woman in New Zealand, in relation to the NRL betting scandal that has led to charges against Bulldogs player Ryan Tandy, former player John Elias and player agent Sam Ayoub.
Police have released CCTV images of a woman who went to a TAB at Browns Bay in Auckland between 4.50pm (NZDT) and 5.15pm on Friday, August 20, last year.
She then returned at 5.35pm the following day.
Detectives said they are not implying the woman in the footage has engaged in any unlawful activity, but they would like to know her identity and whereabouts.
Tandy has been charged with giving false evidence about his betting on the game between the Bulldogs and the North Queensland Cowboys in August last year.
Ayoub and former first-grader Elias have been charged with attempting to defraud a number of betting agencies.
The charges followed an unusual plunge on a betting option that the first points of that game would come from a penalty goal.
Tandy was penalised two minutes into the game for impeding Cowboys playmaker Grant Rovelli in front of the posts.
The Cowboys were awarded a penalty, but took a tap kick instead of kicking for goal.
Tandy, 29, pleaded not guilty to all charges during his appearance in Sydney's Downing Centre Local Court on March 3.
He was released on bail to attend court again on April 7.
All three men have been granted conditional bail by police and are due to appear in the Downing Centre Local Court on April 7.
The woman placing the bets in Auckland is described as aged in her 20s, with a slim build and shoulder-length hair. She is possibly of Caucasian appearance.
She was wearing blue jeans, a dark-coloured zippered hooded jacket and was carrying a large red handbag. She had been seen pushing a young boy in a pram.
The woman, or anyone who knows her identity, is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or +61 2 4352 0096 if calling from outside Australia.
