Braith Anasta admits he did a double-take when looking at the mirror before Saturday's NRL trial win over Parramatta, but says he's ready to take on his former team as a Wests Tiger next week.
Anasta will face the Sydney Roosters, a club he captained to the 2010 grand final, on Saturday night in the final trial match for both teams and he couldn't be happier to get it out of the way earlier.
The 31-year-old, who spent seven seasons at the Roosters, split with the club in acrimonious circumstances last season when contract negotiations dragged on for long enough to convince Anasta he was unwanted at the tri-colours.
"It is (good) to get it out of the system and get it out of the way (early)," he said after the 41-4 belting of the Eels on Saturday night.
"I'm a Tiger now and as soon as that game is over, everyone will be over it, we'll move on and business as usual."
