KEY POINTS:
There are 10 new faces in the Kiwis selectors' sights in a train-on squad named for the Kangaroos test at Wellington in October and the tour to England.
They are Rangi Chase and Chase Stanley from the Dragons, Shaun Kenny-Dowall and Sam Perrett of the Roosters, Issac Luke and Jeremy Smith from South Sydney, Ben Teo'o and Taniela Tuiaki of the Wests Tigers, former Warrior Cooper Vuna at Newcastle and Sharks wing and goal-kicker Luke Covell.
Players will be added as their teams are eliminated from the National Rugby League finals.
"We'll have a group of players from clubs based around Sydney training together and another group in Queensland of players from Brisbane and Gold Coast," new Kiwis coach Gary Kemble said yesterday.
Roy Asotasi, who captained the Kiwis in this year's Anzac test, heads the list.
The Kiwis play Australia in the centenary test on October 14 before three tests against Great Britain on October 27, November 3 and 10 and a one-off test against France in Paris on November 17.
Meanwhile, the NZRL will make an announcement soon about the team to represent the All Golds in the commemorative match against the Northern Union in Warrington on October 20.
Legendary Australian coach Wayne Bennett and Warriors captain Steve Price have been confirmed so far while former Kiwis skipper Stacey Jones is also a possibility.
