Brisbane centre Justin Hodges is in danger of missing the remainder of the State of Origin series after being issued with a grade three dangerous throw charge by the National Rugby League match review committee.
An early guilty plea will wipe the Maroons ace out for six matches after he tipped Parramatta hooker Mark Riddell on his head midway through the first half of last Friday's match in Brisbane.
