Kevin Proctor and Jarrod Wallace have played down injured Gold Coast teammate Jarryd Hayne's apparent NRL no-show when the Titans played Parramatta on Thursday night.
Out of the game with an ankle injury, the fullback was conspicuously absent from the sidelines for the clash against his former side, despite being in Sydney receiving specialist treatment.
Claims he was not at the game were denied by Hayne's former manager and current adviser Wayne Beavis, only for Proctor and Wallace to admit on Monday they did not see him at ANZ Stadium.
Not named in the 18-man squad, Hayne was not obligated to travel with the side.
But his absence raised eyebrows given Hayne and coach Neil Henry had been summoned to a meeting earlier in the week regarding their alleged fractured relationship.
